This project has taken a turn and was needed to be split up into two projects to be able to create a quality portfolio piece. The first four weeks would be straight modeling and UVS. The next for weeks for Project 2 would be for texturing, as I will be doing a World of Warcraft inspired hand-painted stye.The new schedule is as follows:
Schedule
- During this past week my goal was to have the props of the right side of the room completed. This was accomplished.
- During the final week I will be completing the final models from the left side of the room as well as UV unwrapping and packing all props into multiple texture packs. This will be to prep them for texturing.
Project 2 Start
Schedule
- The first week I will be blocking out the colors for each prop and getting them into Unreal to test the hand painted style with post processing effects to make sure they display correctly.
- The second week I will continue to texture the props on the right side of the reference to completion.
- The third week I will texture the props on the left side of the reference to completion.
- The fourth week I will be updating the lighting in Unreal with the finished assets and picking up any final texture tweaks.
