Final Delivery

For the final delivery I was working on making things seem more overgrown and doing some more set dressing. I replaced my bark texture with a megascan as I was not hitting the quality I would have liked and did not want to bring down the rest of the project. My main focuses where the path, pond behind Susano, and the tori gate.

Sprint #5 Delivery

This week I did a little set dressing and tried to make the meshes blend with the environment. I could not get the blending to work. Not sure if there was something I connected wrong or I am missing something.

Sprint #2 Delivery

For this sprint I completed the auto material we are using for the landscape. I followed this video to get the structure and will be able to add on to this in the future and import it into future projects.

Here is the over all graph and the functions that go in it.

Here is the material instance where we can control all the masks in the material.

Common Art Sprint #1

So for this part of the project I was in charge of looking into some of the vegetation and environmental theming. I also set dressed the first pass at the environment. We are going to go for a run down/old shrine with a courtyard within a forest. The courtyard will be surrounded by wisteria tree and a pine forest. Below are my reference boards for these.

I will be reusing a lot of my previously made foliage and adjust them as needed to help keep scope down while I make more environmental props.

For my contributions I created two master materials for the props and the vegetation. I am also working on a landscape material that will allow up to place textures and vegetation easily along the landscape.

Here is the landscape I made using a height map from https://www.motionforgepictures.com/height-maps/

Here is the renders of my blockouts for the two tree types along with some ground foliage. There are also a couple pavers and a stair blockout that will be replaces with higher quality assets later on.
